The first major revamp since the hotel originally opened in 1977, maintaining its strong appeal to conference and tour party guests, but also targeting the area’s growing leisure tourist demographic. New public spaces are light and elegant with a contemporary classic positioning and a luxury, layered treatment, with stunning art installations from local artists ensuring a uniquely Budapest feel.
The project’s first phase won the Gold Award for Hospitality at the London Design Awards 2015, the ‘Highly Commended’ award for Best Hotel Interiors, Hungary, at the 2016 International Property Awards, Europe. It was also awarded gold at the 2016 Gastro awards for Catering Facilities and Interior Design.
