Goddard Littlefair is delighted to be shortlisted for multiple projects in The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2021.

Our recently completed project The Dandy Bar at The Mayfair Townhouse is shortlisted in the Luxury Bar Category. The Dandy Bar is the heart and soul of the hotel – a theatrical, alluring space which evokes the adventurous spirit of the dandy and the dynamic energy of Mayfair.

In the Hotel Category, Kontrast and Selleny’s have also been shortlisted amongst other prestigious hospitality projects. Set in Villa Copenhagen, The vision for Kontrast was to create a destination with a point of difference. Styled to be approachable for the Danish market and authentic to guests, it channels unpretentious mid-century design with beautifully crafted references of the past and present. Taking cues from historic features found in the hotel, such as a dash-dot motif on the original post desk, the design evokes a feeling of timeless integrity. A large wrap around bar and open kitchen provide theatre and all-day interaction with Chef Tore Gustafsson and his team.

Based in Hilton Vienna Park, as guests flow from the Lounge into the Selleny’s, the impact of this space is focussed on the dual cocktail and food counters, providing an intriguing draw from both the exterior and the interior, with a choice of artisanal local products and ingredients. Supporting an informal breakfast service in the mornings and lounge service during the day, the bar becomes the theatrical focal point in the evening with eye-catching details and theatrical embellishments.

It’s great achievement for all of team GL to have three projects shortlisted in these prestigious hospitality industry awards. The winners will be revealed on 14th October at our virtual awards ceremony, on the final day of the inaugural Restaurant & Bar Design Week. We look forward to sharing more news soon!
