Goddard Littlefair were appointed to realise the interior and terrace of The Conrad, an apartment located within 9 Millbank premises, in 2020. Originally part of the Imperial Chemical House designed by Sir Frank Baines and built in 1929 and now a Grade 11 listed building, Goddard Littlefair worked skilfully to restore and transform intricate historical features. Intricately carved door frames and luxurious timber panelling to ornate decorative plasterwork, are details throughout the apartment that have been embraced within the design. Located alongside the iconic Houses of Parliament, Lambeth Bridge and Headquarters of MI5, The Conrad offers the epitome of luxury living within the heart of central London. Traditional parquet flooring, along with tones of black and white, evoke the classical English heritage of Westminster, offset by rich leathers, silks, and aged oaks that provide a more contemporary finish.
