Located in the affluent London district of Belgravia, Chelsea Barracks represents a historic collaboration between the finest master planners and creative minds in the architectural world to establish an entirely new neighbourhood within London’s most esteemed enclave.

Each dressed residence offers a unique aesthetic which has been evolved from a distinct discerning individual that the design studio foresees taking up residency at Chelsea Barracks; a retired lawyer, an art dealer, a perfumier and innovators. Goddard Littlefair looked to envision the type of lifestyle and character the spaces would need to cater to in order to achieve an authentic vision.

Visual ‘clues’ have been woven into the fabric of the studio’s design to evoke a sense of personality, cultural background, interests and passions. Wall coverings from Phillip Jeffries, Tektura and Altfield were used to bring a layer of depth, texture and refinement to elevations. Many of these have light reflective qualities which emphasise the sense of brightness and space within the apartments.

The design studio also reached into their years of international experience to source a large proportion of the upholstery and cabinetry pieces that have been designed specifically for these apartments and produced on a bespoke basis. The majority of the artwork pieces that were sourced have also been specially commissioned and are unique, catering to the lifestyle of luxury that the Chelsea Barracks development provides.
